Not all diamonds need to be re-cut- some can be re-polished or restored to their former beauty. Through the years, diamonds can pick up tiny nicks or scratches, or perhaps it still has polish marks from the original cutting processes. As diamond cutting and polishing techniques have improved over the years, a master diamond cutter will be able to re-polish any diamond to ensure the highest possible cut grade.
Whether it is a minor repair or a full re-cut- our partners trust our team to deliver the highest possible cut grade with the best weight retention (where possible). As an added service to all our US-based partners, we prepare all the necessary shipping documents included the commercial invoices for the temporary importation of diamonds and gem stones submitted for repair. For individual pieces, we recommend sending these to our office in Peabody, MA.
All finished diamonds that are submitted to AGS Laboratories for grading and inscription qualify for our advantage rate (which is also available to members of various associations).
